Belzona Polymerics Ltd., a leader in the manufacturing of protective coatings and repair composites, will be showcasing its innovations in polymer technologies at the 14th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition 2014, March 19-21 in Beijing, China.

Belzona - present in more than 120 countries - offers a wide range of repair and maintenance solutions to combat the most complicated corrosion, erosion, chemical attack and high temperature problems present in Upstream and Downstream.

Newly launched sprayable erosion-corrosion protection coatings will be demonstrated along with a novel preventative solution to flange corrosion – an encapsulating pealable and resealable membrane that is applied and cures at ambient temperature.

This new development, along with continued improvements in our high temperature immersion linings and erosion/corrosion resistant coatings, should help to maintain Belzona’s position at the forefront of corrosion management technology”.

Belzona will also showcase innovations in materials and technology for repair and prevention of corrosion in process vessels operating up to 180°C (356°F), with the use of organic linings, cold bonding of the internals and proven solutions to difficult-to-reach areas where corrosion typically occurs – flange faces and small bore nozzles. The Belzona complete solution to process vessel corrosion ensures the entire vessel is protected from various aggressive media at high temperatures and pressures.

Various pipework corrosion solutions will also be displayed. Visitors are welcome to discuss how heat-activated Belzona coatings and composites can be used to repair and prevent corrosion under insulation (CUI) on-line. Belzona Composite Wrap System has become a first choice for maintenance professionals as a long-term solution to pipework corrosion.
